New K-Pop Christmas Include V, BoyNextDoor and Bing Crosby – “White Christmas”

From Geek Mom: Most prominently, there’s music news coming out this past week from both the official BTS feed and official feed for the estate of Bing Crosby. Yes, that Bing Crosby. BTS member V (Kim Taehyeong) will release a duet mix of Crosby’s classic “White Christmas” on December 6.

Kelly Clarkson – “You For Christmas”

A new single was released by Kelly on September 27, 2024. The new single is titled “You for Christmas” and her Instagram account explains her motivation for releasing the song:

“This time of year can be so hard / Searching for blessings in the dark / If Santa has one gift to bring us / I’ll tell him I just want you for Christmas ///

Jennifer Hudson – “The Gift of Love”

Van Zant – “Always Look Up”

Lynyrd Skynard’s Johnny Van Zantled is joined by his brother, 38 Special’s Donnie Van Zant, will be releasing their first album of Christian rock. The album will be available on November 22.

Kesha and Dasha Will Release New Holiday Spotify Singles

Spotify is set to release 5 new holiday singles on Tuesday October 15. The singles are:

“Holiday Road” by Kesha
“Driving Home for Christmas” by Dasha
“River” by Max Richter
“Run Rudolph Run” by Mark Ambor
“Emmanuel” by Miel San Marcos

Clay Aiken – “Christmas Bells Are Ringing”

It has been 10 years since Clay released his first holiday album. The release date is November 22. The album features a new rendition of “Do You Hear What I Hear” as Clay stated he wants to offer people a song of hope particularly during this divisive past year.

Dan + Shay – “It’s Officially Christmas”

The debut holiday album from Dan + Shay will be available on October 18. It contains 21 songs including classics such as “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and originals such as “Blame it on Santa” and “Save the Snowman”.

Jimmy Fallon – “Holiday Seasoning”

Jimmy’s new album is being released on November 1 and he collaborated with Meghan Trainor (Wrap Me Up), Jonas Brothers (Holiday), Will Ferrell (One Glove), Chelsea Handler (Merry Happy Christmas), and Justin Timberlake (You’ll Be There). The Christmas music is made up of all original songs.

Ruben Studdard – “My Favorite Holiday”

Ruben’s first ever holiday project is an EP and it will be released on November 1. The title track, “My Favorite Holiday” will be released first to streaming platforms on October 25.
