Hallmark Christmas Movie Reviews

Has beautiful Christmas decor and has a very sweet story.  This movie is also a bit different from the others which is a nice change.  It is sure to get you into the Christmas spirit. We gave it 4.5 trees and say it should definitely make your watch list this season.

This movie again broke away from Hallmarks cookie cutter format.  It was fun story with some twists along the way.  Enjoyed that there were a few surprises.  We gave it 4.3 trees and think it should be on your movie list.

This was another very predictable movie. The scout leader was incredibly annoying which just made the movie even less enjoyable to watch. Again another movie that you will not miss watching. We gave it only 1 tree and thought it is a skip.

We found this one to be quite boring. The characters did not have any chemistry and we didn’t feel invested in their relationship. In the end had no desire to watch their relationship over five years. It was only a 1 tree and a skip.

It felt a bit long and we weren’t fans of the story moving back and forth between present and past. However, it was still an enjoyable watch. We gave this movie 3

If you were a fan of the 1990s tv show: Sabrina the teenage witch you will be thrilled to see Beth Broderick and Caroline Rhea together again in this movie. The romantic storyline takes a back seat to the character’s personal growth and developing friendship. We gave this movie 4.6 trees🎄and highly recommend adding this movie to your holiday movie list.

We really liked the main couple and felt they had nice chemistry. Given the title you can expect a lot of trivia so if you like that you may enjoy that part of the story. We thought we would be able to answer more trivia questions than what we could. Despite our failed trivia answers it was still an enjoyable watch and we gave it 3.2 trees.

This is a fun movie that will have you smiling and chuckling. Fans of ‘When Called the Heart” will enjoy watching this couple on screen together in this movie. We really liked it and gave it 4 trees🎄A Hallmark Christmas movie to watch this holiday season.

Christmas with the Singhs: is a sweet movie about families coming together despite their differences. Although the movie had a bit of a slower start we were happy we continued watching as it was a heartwarming story. We gave it 4 trees

Jingle Bell Run: is Hallmark’s version of the Amazing Race with of course a romantic storyline. This is the first of this year’s Christmas movies that we had a difference of opinion on what to rate it. Sara gave it 4.1 tree 🎄 because she enjoyed the fast pace and Christmas challenges. Where as I only gave 2 trees 🎄 due to its predictability. What do you give this movie?

This Hallmark movie was the one we were most excited to watch. We loved the first one and had hoped the sequel would be as heartfelt as the original. This movie did not disappoint. It has the same sweetness of the original as the characters reunite for another special Christmas. This movie has been our favorite this season with a rating of 5 trees. If you loved the original you will enjoy the sequel. We highly recommend adding this to your Hallmark Christmas movie list.

We could not get into this movie. The characters were bland and the storyline did not grab our attention. We only gave it 1 tree and think it is a skip.

This is the newest of Debbie Macomber’s Miracle series. It has the same sweetness as the others movies in the series as Mrs. Miracle brings three siblings together. We gave this a movie 3.2

Deck the Walls was an enjoyable watch. Enemies to lovers storyline mixed with a house renovation. We gave it 4 trees.

We were disappointed by this one. It came across incredibly cheesy and predictable to the point that the festive setting couldn’t save it. We think this is a skip with only 1 tree.

The movie failed in every way. For someone who has always enjoyed the princess storyline this one was a complete disappointment. The story was bad and most of the characters were unlikable. Don’t waste your time watching the spoiled princess go to boot camp. Doesn’t even deserve a tree.

This was a sugar flop! We found this one to be over the top and not worth the watch. We gave it only a 1/2 tree

It seemed promising at first and even my husband was willing to watch this one with us. Sara and I thought we finally found one we all could enjoy but we were sadly disappointed. We give this movie only 2 trees.

The movie is a sweet movie celebrating family traditions. It centres on a couple who celebrate their first Hanukkah and Christmas together. We gave this movie 4.5 trees.

We have given this one a failing grade. It was way too cheesy with unlikable characters and a story that just didn’t work. Even Santa Claus couldn’t save this one. We gave it only half a Christmas tree
